These are my four pencil drawings for the first part of Rotvälta. Made on three different sets of A4/A5ish paper with graphite and mechanical pencils. I began drawing these in spring and finished the last one a week ago. The main plot has been worked on for about a year or so with a lot of changes as time went by.
I drew them both as wolves at first (this is a somewhat old drawing), but as I changed the story and modified the main characters a bit I turned them into lynx instead.
This is the full version of the cropped drawing I used in the story. This drawing doesn’t perfectly fit the plot, since I drew this for another castle (this one’s in stone, whereas all Rotvälta buildings are made of wood), but I went with it anyways as I just wanted to get the first chapter done.
And to finish it off we have the sword from the fir!
